DANCES AND PRACTICE TIMES:

1:30 – 2:30pm: LAGA

Lead Instructors: Wilfredo Francisco III, Melanio Retuta

Students: Grades K-5

Difficulty: Beginner preferred

Materials needed: Scarf

2:30 – 3:30pm: GAWAYGAWAY

Lead Instructors: Albert Labasan, Agnes Trzaska, Terry Navor

Assistant Instructor: Quincy

Students: All Grades

Difficulty: Beginner-Intermediate Preferred

Materials needed: Book, girls wear flowy skirt if available

3:30 – 4:30pm: KINAKULANGAN

Lead Instructors: Deanne Manalastas, Lauren Cachola

Assistant Instructors: Alyssa Iem, Quincy

Students: Grades 6-12

Difficulty: Intermediate – Advanced preferred

Materials needed: Each student must bring an umbrella if avaialble. Each girl must bring a book and two bandanas or similar material if available.

Delano Filipino American History Documentary 

It is with great joy that we share with you our very first Delano Filipino American history documentary! Through the stories of four individuals with great impacts to our Delano community, we will be sharing their experiences, their hardships, and their legacies that have left a lasting community for the FilAm Delano youth today. We hope you can all join us in experiencing this documentary together!

Produced by Mariel Munoz and directed by Bryan Avelar and Melanio Retuta, with the video production support of Lauren Cachola, Albert Labasan, Wilfredo Francisco III, and Christopher Ines. Further supported by FAYE Project Manager, Maureen Munoz, and the 2025-2027 FANHS Delano officers.
